Review and analyze construction drawings, specifications, and bid documents to develop detailed scopes of work
Prepare comprehensive and accurate cost estimates for commercial construction projects
Solicit, evaluate, and level subcontractor and supplier proposals
Develop and maintain unit pricing and historical cost data
Collaborate with project management and leadership teams during pre-construction planning
Participate in bid reviews, presentations, and proposal development
Identify value engineering opportunities to enhance cost efficiency without compromising quality
Monitor market trends, material pricing, and labor conditions to ensure competitive positioning
Minimum 3 years estimating experience in construction estimating or pre-construction services
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.)
Excellent analytical, organization, and problem-solving skills
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and accountability
Strong knowledge of commercial construction methods, materials, and industry practices
Strong communication and negotiation abilities
Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Perform take-off pricing
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
